I Have Two Homes

I have two homes, one in India and one here in Canada. In Canada, the mornings are soft and peaceful, and in India, the mornings feel busy with the bright sunshine. In India, the house is filled with laughter and sunshine, and here it is soothing and quiet. In India, my roots grow deep, And in Canada, my future grows stronger. In India, I wake-up early, and go get milk with my mom. And here, I wake-up a little late and get fresh air. Home is not just about language or city, it is all about where I feel safe and protected, to call that house my home. I don’t belong to just one place. I am connected like two wires. And that means I have double the love.
