What Home Feels Like to Me

I have a house with walls, a bed, and a comfy couch, but something is missing. Yes, I have everything I need to live, but a house is not a home. A home is where I have feelings and a beautiful family right beside me with every step I take. I see joy and my family. I smell the freshly baked chicken with potatoes on the dining table where my family will talk lovingly to each other and feel wanted. I hear the laughter in everyone. I feel their hugs and kisses. I taste the spicy dohrow. I thank my family and God for my loving home. I pray for everyone to get a home, and it worked! Habitat for Humanity helps people get their own home. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity!
