My Home

My dog is waiting for me on the deck when I get home from a good day of school. I’m happy when my mom gets home from a long day of work. She wants me and my brother to be happy. She works hard for us and she does it right. My mom works hard to get us snacks and to make us warm, and puts us under a roof. I feel safe at home. I love home. At home, my dog barks a lot, I still love him. Me and my brother fight but if someone picks on me, he is right by me. Home is a good place to feel safe.
