What is Home...

Home is when I walk inside, Close the door and see my family, My shoes sitting on the floor, Home is where my body can rest after a day of school. I feel so safe and happy here, I smell the familiar air when I open the door, The feeling that I have been here before, I walk down the hallway and hear the laughter echoing When I look around, I see memories of happy moments, Memories of my family flash, Home is the first place I think of when there is danger, Home is my unforgettable guardian; it never leaves me in case of danger. Though, the world is a thrall, Home is a shield to protect you all, Home is a place where you are accepted, and kindness and love are expected, I love my home because It’s a place where I am safe to just exist.
