Home is Not Just a Place

Home is where I feel safe. Home is a place where I can be me. Home is a place where I can sit on the couch that my nana once had. Home feels like snuggling with my dog and lizard, even if my lizard gets mad. Home is where I can be with my family. Home is somewhere I can be with my friends. Home is where I can smell my mom’s candles. Home is where my pets live. Home is where love is spread. Home is where I can have fun and make forts. Home is where my emotions come out. Home is a place where I can play with my cousins. Home is my cozy spot. Home is where my mom and dad provide me with food. Home is where I sleep. Home is where my family lives.
