Home

My home means many things, big and small, but what it means most is the memories that call. Like fun family movie nights or hugs and kisses while saying goodnight, my brother’s Legos on the table and floor and my dog greeting me by the door. My messy room I never clean or looking out to see snow-filled streets, going to the woods to take a walk or playing with my friends on a sunny block. Playing tag in the yard or trying out my new guitar, muddy boots hung on the rack or water from my bubble bath. The photos of my family or decorating Christmas trees, the star stickers on my ceiling or going out to see my friends. Humming a catchy lullaby and watching as the time flies by, changing into comfy clothes while having books up my nose. Having toast, my favorite snack, and trying to get a knot out of my back, practicing volleyball and playing fetch with my dog. Playing in the pool on a hot summer day or hiding out in the shade, sipping hot cocoa next to the fire while making memories worth my while. Wherever home is, I love it so, and I’ll remember it till I’m old! (:
