Home

Home is a feeling that isn't always in a building. It is when you feel safe, loved and heard. For me I find home in my friends and family as well as in my house. With my friends, I know they have got my back, and even if we have arguments, we will still be friends. With my family I always feel loved, cared for, and that my feelings and opinion matter. At my house there are many scents and sounds and sights that make me feel at home. For example, I can usually smell coffee and, well, just that special scent of home. Our back yard looks out to a beautiful Garry Oak meadow and I always feel so grateful for beautiful sights. That is what home means to me.
