What Home Means To Me

To me, home is the only place where I can actually relax. All day at school, you have to deal with people and rules, but the second I walk through my front door, all that pressure disappears. It's the one spot where I can just be chill and not have to worry about anything. It’s also about the stuff that makes it feel like mine. It's the way bed feels after a long day, the fact Wi-Fi connects automatically and having a fridge full of food I actually like. My room is basically my home base. I can just put on my headphones and do my own thing without anyone bothering me. At the end of the day, home isn’t some big emotional thing; it’s just a feeling of being comfortable. It’s the place I always want to be when I'm tired or stressed out. Even if it’s not perfect it’s still the only place where I can truly just exist without any drama.
