Meaning of Home

When I see my house, I think of a place where I can’t be silent. A place where I can be myself and be quiet. Home is like a cool breeze, a place where my voice is heard, and thoughts are shared at ease. Even when I’m sad or angry, I know the people I love are there for me. Home is a place of love and comfort, to learn to grow. A place where laughter is shown. We gather around the table ready to eat, where we like our food spicy and sweet. We eat while we talk about our day; I can’t wait to laugh at the jokes they make. S’mores are hard on the outside but soft on the inside. A house might just seem like bricks and walls, but a home is so much more when you discover it all.
