When I was born I felt welcomed. Showered with hugs and kisses, tickles and giggles A soothing lullaby when I cry, Giving me my milk with a compassionate eye But there was a long way ahead of me… This may feel intense of me Growing, though there may be pain, but enjoying all this time. Learning something new. in every chance I get, Not wasting every moment Sometimes I would be strong, brave, and not be afraid. Sometimes I would win, lose or whatever was said there are levels in life and you try to defeat them Each victory you win is a precious gem Being bullied or what size you are, even skin color too, no matter what, do the good you ought to do and be respected. Being judged and even criticized is part of life Wherever you go, surely there will be strife A welcome, a smile, a loving home is all you need You are strong, you are getting wiser, you know where you’re from You have to love yourself and you are already home There’s a miracle that God already gave you, it’s life There’s a glowing constellation above that’s guiding you Not everyone is perfect, look how bright you burn, with a home and a family Everyday is a new miracle. You're the gift to your family and your home.
