WHAT HOME MEANS TO ME

I’m thankful for a roof over my head every night I’m thankful for getting a meal every night at dinner time I’m thankful that my family can afford clothes and more for me and my sisters I’m thankful for a home and a family to go to when I’m feeling blue A home is not just a place where you live. It’s a place where you build memories with your family. Home is no place you should feel judged. It’s a place where you should be your own person! Home is my family’s pride and joy. Home is my everything. Home is where I get to be free and roam just like the wind. Home is where my anger is. Home is where my happiness is. Home is where we fight. Home is where we love each other! Home is my place. Home is my safety! Home is where I hear good things! Home is where I smell good things! Home is where I feel good things! Home is a place I can go, follow my dreams! A house is bricks, paint, doors. but a home is family, love, friends, kindness! That’s what home means to me.
