What Home Means to Me

Home is more then walls covering me it is where I find my identity. Where I am free to be me where I am drinking a glass of hot tea. Home is where my mom’s comfort food fills the room with joy, Where diners are shared with laughter and a story. Home is safe and calm where all alarming things are gone. Home is a place to celebrate meaningful days where all my worries go away. Home is where I am standing proudly where I learn to take a step in front of me. Home is where I am lucky to have what I do where I stand close to my family to. Home is where the warm water gentle washes over my face, Where I learn how it is okay to make a mistake. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving this meaningful project for kids around Canada to help others
