The Meaning of Home

Have you wondered before what a home is? A home is a calm place where you can read, sleep, and cook. A house is locked, and a home is not because your heart is in it. There is love in a home but in a house, there is furniture and no feelings. In a home you make jokes and spread happiness. In a home, it is clean, cozy, and warm. The warmth in a home is not like in a house because in a house you are just warm but in a home your heart is warm. In a home you can celebrate your own culture and speak your own language. You can play your traditional games, eat your traditional food, and do your traditions. In a home grow your memories with your friends and family. One of the memories is you being very young and eating icecream and getting it all over yourself and playing with your friends. In a home there is privacy and self-care. There is a roof over your head and there is shelter. In a home you learn, study, and read, believe in people and trust them. In a home you can do anything that you want, like listen to music and play games. In a home you live there your whole life mostly but sometimes you need to move and move homes and schools very rarely. Home is a sweet place. Thank you, Habitat, for huminite for building homes for people in need.
