What Home Means To Me

Home is a safe place to be yourself. These are some of the reasons I love my home so much. When I come home from school one of my dogs greets me, jumps and gives me kisses. Another reason I love my home is because there are lots of feelings like love when my twin sister makes jokes and we both act silly, when we make sacrifices for each other and when we make crafts with my mom. Maybe you could relate to that? I know my family loves me and I love them very much and if you're having a bad day your family will cheer you up. A house is different from a home. A house is a shelter. A house is just walls, floors and windows. I think it’s unfair that some people choose between food, water and child care or a shelter. People can’t have fun with their family and friends if they have to worry about house things. In a home there are feelings, family, friends and maybe a pet or multiple pets. I hope that everyone can have a home.
