A Safe Place

A house is a place with walls and a couch. A home is a place where I feel loved, safe and happy. A home is a place where I get home cooked meals that my parents or grandparents make for me. My favorite home cooked meals are tacos and spaghetti. A home is a place where you have traditions on new years eve. My family and I open a memory jar that includes pieces of paper with stuff on it that we did that year. When we open the jar we read them out aloud to our family members. Another reason my home is special to me is on Christmas day my family and I eat Christmas meals. The Christmas meals include turkey and potatoes. I love eating with my family because I love their company. My home makes me happy because of the memories I make with my family really makes me feel loved.
