Meaning of Home Essay

Home is where I feel safe, respected, loved, and accepted. My home is with my family and friends. It's not a house. A house could be a building with so many fancy and nice things that you love but it isnt a home, a home is something so special that it can't be bought with nice and fancy things. A home doesn't have to be where you live, it could be with your best friend. Home is where you make the most memories, where love never ends, where you laugh the most at, where all your stress fades away, it's a comfort zone, it's wherever you feel like you belong. It really isn't all about the actual house, the four walls and the roof, it goes FAR beyond that, if you don't feel protected, cherished, cared for,secure, belonging, welcomed, then it's not a true home,home is a safe haven. My home is with my bestfriend, she is the best person i have ever met and i wouldn't trade her for anything. Her family is my family and my family is hers. She makes me feel like i'm at home, she makes me feel loved, safe, she makes everything bad go away even if it's just for a couple hours. Her family makes me feel like i'm a part of it, like i'm the other daughter which is why that's my home.
