My Meaning of Home
My home has walls, a roof, and doors just like any other but that is not what makes it my home. It is my home because of the people who live in it, The memories of what came before.
My home is a special place.
My home is warm and safe.
My home is somewhere I truly belong.
My home is where me and my family live in harmony.
My home is where I feel joy, Excitement, anger, frustration, sadness
and hopefulness.
My home is where I make fond memories I will cherish forever.
My home is where I scream, laugh, cry and hum.
My home is where I eat, sleep and heal when I am sick.
My home is where I learned to beg, talk, read and write. But home is not just one place, nor two it is where I am welcome where I am never judged or harmed. Home is My Granny and grump’s house sitting on the couch talking and laughing. My home is my grandpa and grandma's backyard playing badminton and picking berries. My home is my best friend‘s house playing on her switch and eating snacks.
To me home is where my family is. Where we are together just being a family,
My home is North Glenora, Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, North America, the world.
