What Home Means To Me

If home was a taste it would be a freshly baked peanut butter cookie straight out of the oven because my mom always makes these cookies. If home was a sight it would be the mountains surrounding Lake Louise, Alberta because that trip to the mountains was one of my favourites. If home was a feeling it would be my snowboard boots tied tightly on my feet on the cold Asessippi hills because I love the rush of excitement I get when I’m snowboarding. If home was a sound it would be birds chirping on a warm summer morning because I like lazy, summer mornings when I can just lie in bed. If home was a smell it would be a brand new book that I just started because I like how I can leave my troubles behind me and get lost in a story. My home is a place where I can take a break from reality and just be me!
