A Home to Me

A home to me is a place with family. Home is a place you are loved. A home is where you are safe. A home could be in a forest, it could be a house too, but a home can also be the love of your parents. Home is where you feel like you can shine and be your own true self. I feel like one of the most important things about a home is being your true self. A lot of people don’t show their true self. A lot of people don’t act their true self outside of their home. That’s because most people think they have to be someone else. They think others don't like their true self. Home is a place of laughter, and playing. It’s not the biggest house on the block, a home can be anywhere as long as your family is there. Home is a safe place. If you don’t feel safe, you are in a house, and I don’t think you want to be in a house, you probably want to be in a home. A home is where your family is.Your family can do anything to make you feel like you're in a home, but for me it’s the smell of dinner cooking. That smells like home to me. Home to me is playing video games with my brother and sister. I think the meaning of home is important, because home is where you are loved. It can be anywhere just as long as your family is there. Home is where everyone is loved most, and no one and mean no one can ever take that away from you. Even if a family member passes in your heart they’ll be there for you forever and ever, they’ll never die in you.
