A Home Means

H means a habitat for the less fortunate families and loving families. O means to be open and to honour your home. M means to make memories with your family, to cherish the memories of love and special moments. E means a loving environment where you can be cared for and loved. Home is not just a building with four walls and a roof, it’s a place where I can eat, sleep and wonder. For me home is not just letters it’s a place where you can laugh and live with family that you care for. You can also make memories like baking fresh cookies with your Mom or playing outside with your Dad and siblings. Home means a safe space, a memory maker and a place of joy and laughter. To have a space with walls around me and a roof over my head that I can call home. A house is just a building on the side of the road but a home is a place you can drive into and be welcomed. A home means a lot to me especially to the less fortunate families that don’t have a home. A home is the best thing I could ask for to surround me in warmness and kindness. It’s not the bricks and glue that hold the house together it’s the memories that hold the home together. I was always told that its not how big the house its how happy the home. There is no place like home.
