My Rainbow Home

A house is just a building with walls and doors, but a home is a place where you can let your true colours shine! A house is just an empty building, it's cold and lonely, but a home is a lot more. A home is where you can see your pet prancing across the living room or toys scattered across the table. I can live in a house, but I can thrive in a home. A house is nice, but my home, our home, is better. It is decorated with pictures of me and my family. A house may have walls, but a home has a structure made out of memories of you and your family. A home is a safe place, it lets your emotions be free. It is a place where you can be mad, happy, sad, and disgusted. A home is a place where you can get in a fight and then a few seconds later your neighbours can hear you laughing like nothing happened. A home is where you can fall asleep and get up knowing that you are safe. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building these amazing homes for people that don’t have one.
