My Meaning of Home

Home is a place where people care about you, they love you. Home is a place that’s safe, it is a place where you are being protected. My meaning of home is a place with warmth, family, love, and safety, a place where you cannot be harmed. A home is a place to be with friends and family, it’s a place where you can truly be you, a place where memories can be made. My home can sometimes sound like cats meowing, footsteps, and a floor that would creak at some random moments, sometimes I get scared of the sounds in my house, like when I hear footsteps outside my room when I’m sleeping, sometimes when I wake up at night to get water, I might make my floor creak and scare myself. A home is a place to live in, with family and pets. Friends can come over to have fun with you, talk with you, even though you can see each other at school, some friends might not be in the same school as you, they might have moved to a new place and had to switch schools. I sometimes think about lonely people with no homes, pets that were abandoned by their owner, they all suffered, and it hurts to think about it. Everybody deserves to be loved, they deserve a place to live, to create happy memories that won’t be forgotten. A home once again is a place where everybody cares for each other, a place to live, a place to be loved and protected, a place where you cannot be alone, a place to make memories with family and friends. A home may be different for you, but this is how I see my home. A place to be loved.
