What makes a House a Home?
What makes a house a home? This question made me think about all they ways my home is different from a house.
A house has four walls and a roof. A house protects you from the rain, snow, wind, and the cold.
A house can be cold or empty while a home can't protect it can still make you feel safe. By having a house, walls, and doors I have privacy. A home has memories with the ones you love
Having family meals around the table you can cuddle your dogs and play with your dogs in the backyard you can play board games around the table with your family. A home is where you can yell if you are mad and nobody will judge you. A home is where you can play games with your sister or brother. A home is where you can make a big mess with your friends or your family.
Now that I learned the differences between a house and a home I have a better understanding of a home. Habitat for humanity's goal is to raise money for people to buy a house and then they can make it their home. I'm happy that my story could raise ten dollars.
