Home is Amazing
The meaning of home to me is having family and friends that care for me. Home to me isn’t being in your house it is to have memories with your family. When I think of my home I think of not just my house but my neighbours and the the park behind my house. Home is where I belong and feel loved.
One thing I like about home is that I live in a cold place where it snows every winter. The snow is white and fluffy like clouds. In the winter I like building snow forts with my family and friends. I really like because it Canada can be cold and warm. Last year I built a snow fort with my family and it was big enough for me and my brother to play in it at the same time, and it was astounding! That’s why winter is my favorite season.
When I think of home I think of the summer when I stay up late with my friends and family we would do this once in a while. Every night we did it I had so much fun. We would mostly just play games outside our house or at the park behind our house. One of my favourite things about this is that sometimes my dad would set up this big inflatable pool that had a small water slide and we would play on it until we’d get cold. Then we would dry of and do it again the next day.
These are all the things and memories that remind me of home. Home is my favourite place to be in and feel safe and loved. Home is different for different people so I hope you have a place you feel loved. So be grateful for your family.
