Meaning of Home

My home is a place where I have belonging. Every home has someone who belongs there. Every family has people who has kinship there. Every home has love has some type of attachment. But not every family has a place to call home. My family makes me feel like I belong there because they show me love and acts of kindness. I always feel at home when I’m at school. Everyone there makes me feel like I belong. Home is not always a place where you live. It can be anywhere your comfortable and happy. What makes a home? It can be anywhere you find comfort or where you feel you belong. Home can be anywhere. School, your friends home, a different country/continent. Home can be a place where you aren’t afraid to do things or your not embarrassed to do things. Home is where the people you love are. Why do I have this feeling? Because some families can’t afford education or a home. So to some families the streets are their home. Some families have babies and aren’t able to care properly for their babies. I feel sad when I see homeless people on the streets. I want to give money to them but when I see them I don’t have money on me. I don’t like people begging for money or food. They really deserve better. I don’t like when people treat them poorly. They don’t know their backstory or how they got on the streets. My home is where ever God is with me. This writing is not about religion or spirituality but this is what home means to me. Home is also at my church because that is the house of God and I get to see my friends there. Every time I see homeless people I want to give but I don’t have. I haven’t seen any homeless people recently but I feel they deserve better. Some people on the streets are young and picking out of the trash to eat food. Some of those young people got kicked out of their home. Some their parents died, some there ran away from home from their toxic family. We never know what they are going through. They are literally picking out of the trash to find food. Some people when there is a stain on their things they throw it away instead of trying to clean it. God loves them and you he has many plans for them and you. Even when your in the dark times he will lead you to the light Christian or not Christian God has plans for you. Home is like a comfy blanket that you can hide in. Life is a rollercoaster. Money is just paper its not like we are going to take it to heaven.
