A means adjust... adjusting to your new life at home.
B means begin... begin your life at home.
C means cycle... start the life cycle at home.
D means dad... the dad some people have that gives you love.
E means energy from the things you can do at home.
F means food... the food some people have at home.
G means got... when you go shopping, remember that some people don’t have what we can have.
H means home... the home that some people have.
I means in... in your car, in your bed, in your bath, and lots more!
J means just... you might hear this word a lot, maybe at the start of a fight at home.
K means kind... a kind heart for a kind person in your life.
L means love... when your mom or dad gives you a great big hug.
M means mom... the mom that some people have that gives you love.
N means nice... like ‘nice.’ You can choose to be nice if you want, but nice is better.
O means open... open to what might come or change.
P means protect... a home can always protect.
Q means questions... the questions in your home.
R means residential school... we show respect to the children who had to go.
S means sight... some people have sight, and some don’t. Some people don’t have that good of eyesight.
T means technology... like TV, tablet, car, phone—things that some people have.
U means use... like you use your TV, car, or tablet.
V means very... you might hear this word a lot at home, like “I love you very much.”
W means wisdom... the wisdom that can guide you through.
X means exciting... the exciting things that are ahead of you.
Y means you... you are different; everyone is different, which makes everyone unique.
Z means zipper... the zipper on your jacket in winter.
Everyone is different, and some people don’t have what we have.
So, we can give. Give to the poor and help. Help people have a good life.
