Home Means Safety

I think home means safety. My home is like a warm cozy fortress with my family to keep me safe. When I walk into my home it reminds me of the warmth of the fireplace and the crackly fire. I feel safe when my cat comes to comfort me when I'm feeling worried. My house is a busy restaurant. When I walk into the kitchen I smell savory dinner being made and mouth watering desserts being baked. My nest is 100 percent chaos! I see my family play scrabble and every time we play my dad always wins. I see my lazy cat taking a boring nap on the couch. Because my cat always naps. I am thankful that I have a house. I love my house because it has a lot of comfort in it. My fortress is not a house, it's a home. What do you think home means to you?
