When I Think of Home
When I think of home, I think of my bed, family, friends, and memories. When I think of my house, I think of a roof, walls, rooms, yards, and my things. They seem like the same thing but have their differences.
Home is a feeling; a house is a place. Home is the memories you make; a house is the place you display them for all to see. You may not have a house, but you will have a home inside of your mind and heart. Always be thankful for what you have right now.
A house can be in different shapes, but you shape your home. Always add to your home, don't take away from it.
Those who are homeless are not actually homeless. They may not have a house, but they still have a home. Everyone always has a home. Your personality is the centre piece of your home.
Your home isn't a physical place, but a mental one. Your house is a physical place, with things you can really see and touch. Once you decide to move out, your home comes with. Even after you pass away, home stays with you all the way. Always remember that you’re home, it will never leave your side.
With your home, you can achieve happiness. Remember this, as it will help you in the hardest of times. When times seem like it is impossible to win against the bad times you had, like, for example, the time your double scoop ice cream fell off the cone, remember that your guardian bought you a new one. Never focus on what bad things happen.
This is the meaning of home. Thank you, Habitat for Humanity, for helping those in need of homes
