What Home means to me

A home is not a house. It is better than one. It is where my happy place is. And let me tell you how. My home is my safe place, where love is everywhere. My home is not a home without my family. All my memories inside. All my emotions turn happy inside. My home is not just a wall and a floor. A place where I can be myself and not be afraid to show. My home is not just a roof and a door. It is a place where new stories and memories unfold. But a house is just walls, roof, floors and a door. My home is where I grew up and where I was loved. Where my family was loved. My home is comfortable and warm. My home is a humble and loving home. A home is where you struggle and work for it. You put all your heart and soul in it. And you didn’t want a house or a rented home. You wanted a home that you own. My home is like a warm blanket hugging me tight. My home is like a family member there to protect you from storms. My home is big to store more and more stories and memories. You wanted a home not a house. You knew that the struggle was real. But you didn’t care, you wanted your family to be safe. You wanted your family to be comfortable. That’s why you should be thankful for Habitat for Humanity. Because they provide a loving home not a house.
