What Home Means To Me
A home can be soft, a home can be hard. A home can be big, small, warm, or cold. To me, a home is a place to unfold my story. To be free and to shout with glee. This is what home means to me.
A home can be big and fancy or small and dull. It would be nice to be big and fancy, but why spend money? Just be so happy! It’s your beautiful house, as tiny as a mouse. A place that you love. This is what home means to me.
A home is a place that you love. A place that touches your heart. It’s wherever you want to be. It can be the swimming pool, the dance studio, the ice rink, the field, a place that’s your shield. This is what home means to me.
A home is with the stuff you love. A blanket, a pillow, a table or a chair. Whatever you want, it’s your home, for you. This is what home means to me.
A home is a place you feel safe in. Your shield. It fights the dragons and the monsters under your bed. It will help you be brave. Although sometimes, it can seem like your enemy. It will be your greatest friend ever. This is what home means to me.
A home is with your family. I feel warm and cozy when my family hugs me tight. They are there with you through thick and thin, when you have hard times and soft times, when your heart is broken, just remember, your family loves you more than ever, more than a thousand dollars. This is what home means to me.
And although home may be everything, a home is not a house.
