My Meaning Of Home

Home isn’t just a bunch of bricks. It means so much more. It’s a place where you feel safe, happy, and sheltered. At home, I hear my family talking, my sister tap dancing, and my dog barking. At home, I taste my mom’s nutritious cooking. How thankful I am for a roof over my head and everything else in my home. Home is a place to rest on a fluffy pillow after a hard day of work. I think everyone should be able to have a home. At home, you can sleep peacefully and with no interruptions (not for me). Home is where memories are made. Some people who go on trips miss their home so much that they become homesick. Even if you’re on an awesome, beautiful vacation, like the beach where you can smell the fresh, salty ocean air, you will probably somewhat miss your home. Each different home means different things for different people. Home is where you can have fun… or listen to your sister’s annoying music (I can relate). Home is a place to shed your tears and vent your frustrations. Home is a place with not a lot of limits and at home, you get your own personal space. In conclusion, home means more than just a bunch of bricks.
