What Home Means to Me

A house is a building made of bricks and wood, but a house is where memories can be made. Houses are shelters that people live in but a home is where happiness and love is kept. A house is an area to roam about but a home is a place of residence and place of origin. A home is something special, it is indescribable. It is not about the structure or the place or the house. A home is a safe haven and comfort zone. A place to live with our families and pets and enjoy with friends. A place to build memories as well as a way to build future health. A place to be ourselves. A home is where you grow physically, mentally, socially and emotionally. Home is where you are loved and where you learn from your mistakes. Home is where you make memories, some good, some bad. Home is where you can be yourself, not feel judged and be accepted.
