MEANING OF HOME

Home is where I come home to my mom or sister baking some homemade chocolate chip oatmeal cookies or some homemade banana bread. My home is where I am protected from the outside world and where I can be myself and I love when I can be my goofy self. This is what home means to me and why I love home so much. H. Happy. At home I am happy. I am happy at home because I get to see the nicest family in the world. O. Open hearted. At home I am open hearted because I love my family so much and they are so nice to me, and I am nice to them back. Like I say treat others the way you want to be treated. M. Meaningful. At home my family is very meaningful. Without my family I would be nothing. My family are the BEST people I know I mean think about it without a family how would you go somewhere or do anything that is why my family is so meaningful to me. E. Eventful. My house is full of events I mean there are at least one a day, but my parents manage, and I am so thankful about that. Well, most of the time it is funny or fun to watch my parents to figure it out. It means a lot to me when the whole family can get together because most of the time, we are busy whether its sports or not or like anything to make us busy. At school I feel like I have to dress to impress someone even though I am ten years old but at home I can dress however I want without anyone judging me like I could where sweats and a sweater and no one would care. At home in the living room is where most of the memories get made in my family well at least ninety nine percent of them anyway. My living room is not just a tv couch and pictures on a wall. Its where everything happens the good bad and funny. Thank you, Habitat Humanity, for giving those a home that are in need.
