What Does Home Mean to Me?

My home is not just a blank canvas. My home is like a cozy homemade blanket covering me, from my toes to my head. My home is a place where you can experience emotions, have conversations, have fun, feel safe, develop new skills, and have a private place where you won’t get bullied. My home makes me special when we have supper together, we chat about how our day is at school, at work, who has the best day, and of course who has the worst day, or in the middle. When I get home, my mom calls my name (Alina), and she always greets me with a warm hug. Every single Sunday, our family has a group chat about God, we read verses, play card games, and we also have a special snack (Ice cream, cookies, yogurt, and fruit salad) . The sound that we have in our home is the washing machine, a water that taps when we don’t close it properly, when it’s quiet the wind blows, and when my dad needs water to drink his tea, he warms up the water with a heater. Home is a place where we can have memories, for example: look at the pictures we took when we have vacation as a family, have laughter together, and sit around the table and drink warm tea together. My home is a place where we can paint a canvas and feel loved as an amazing family, you can shape who you are and your personalities. My home is like a fuzzy, cozy, blanket where we can stuff memories, love, and safety together.
