The Real Meaning Of Home

The real meaning of home is where you can express your emotions and feel comfort. For me, it is the smell of my dad’s jacket when he comes home from work. On Saturdays, my mom, dad, and I select a board game for us to enjoy together. I can’t imagine my family home without pets. My dog, Chloe, knows when I’m in a sad mood. She will roll herself up into a cinnamon bun and snuggle beside me. In my home, I can always express my emotions, knowing that home is a place where I feel understood. I feel so lucky to have a family to be here for me, a home I can call my own, and I hope you have a safe and comfortable place to call home, too.
