Home

Home isn't necessarily the place where you sleep. Your home can be all the way on the other side of the earth. My house is a big, two-story house where I live, eat and sleep. However, my house will always be a really tiny apartment on the second floor near downtown. I remember when I lived in my apartment. I would run in the door and smell my favourite dishes. When I ran in the door, I felt safe and knew I was home. I still love my house and I still feel like a blanket is hugging me but, a home and a house have different meanings. A house is where you live and get shelter, but a home is where you feel safe and know that you are loved. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building houses for families to make memories and hopefully will turn their house into a home.
