Only You can make a Home
A house is a shelter with four walls, and a roof, but a home is anything or any place where there's love, and where you feel safe.
A house shelters you from the cold, but a home makes you feel warm on the inside.
A house has blankets, pillows, and beds, but a home blankets you with love.
A house has an oven, a stove, and a fridge, but a home has my Moms famous banana bread that tastes like the most beautiful highlighter pink sunset over the glistening teal ocean. (well it's famous in my home.)
A house may have jewelry or shiny pearls on a string, but a home lets you shine like a diamond.
A house may have jackets, ACs, and heaters galore, but only a home has my Dad’s warm hugs.
A house is something other people make for you, but a home is something you must make yourself. Thank you Habitat For Humanity for building houses for people so that they can make it a home.
