Habitat for Humanity

Woosh, the warm breeze flies through the trees as it rustles the leaves in my front yard. My home is where encouragement and love are valued. A house is a structure with isolation. But a home is an astonishing place of joy and family. They are always willing to lend a helping hand. My home is a magnificent place where everybody is grateful for what they have, for example a home with loving family members who care about you. Instead of living in a house alone…in silence. In my home we cherish memories like my first steps or words, and of course the hilarious moments in life. I am so very blessed to have a home and a loving family as well as my cute and hilarious dog. I am very grateful to be able to have my own room to just let go of any negativity and relax and just be myself. A house has a kitchen that is clean. But a home has a kitchen where you get to have fun and make messes. And then clean up after but you get to do it all together, that is the fun part. As well as when your mother or father cooks food that is so delicious and they say ‘that it is a secret ingredient’, well that ingredient is called love. A house is empty with no one to watch movies with or even share a laugh. But a home is where you get to watch movies and sit by a crackling fire that makes you warm. A house is lonely, and empty with no one to surround you with love. But a home is where you are safe and loved. You will know that because that feeling will automatically come to you. And if it is a relative's birthday then we would correspond with them through facetime if they are far away. But if they are close then we would go out for lunch, and always share a laugh. A house is just a house. A home is the best place you will ever be because there is so much qualities, in addition i love my home. To sum up, my home is a happy place. Thank you Habitat for humanity for building these homes. For such deserving people. I hope their homes will be as safe and welcoming as well as loving like mine. Thank you for everything!
