What Home Means to Me

To me my home is a wonderful safe place where me and my family make memories we will never forget. One memory I will always remember is when my parents would invite all of my classmates to my birthday party. We would jump on the trampoline, chase my pet chickens around the yard, and play hide and seek in the woods. My home smells like candles being lit while my mom cleans the house on the weekend or a snow day. My home also smells like fresh, delightful meals like turkey dinner with warm gravy on top. My home feels safe like when my mom or dad gives me a big snuggly hug when I am cold or don't feel good. My home is safe because it's sturdy, strong, and warm. My home looks like having fun with my family and friends by playing a board game, video game, or playing outside. My home also looks like watching a movie together wrapped in blankets, eating chips and drinking pop. I love my home to the moon and back and back again. There are hugs and kisses. Memories to share now and when I grow up. My home is a chapter book long and interesting. I make so many nice, beautiful, and interesting memories with my family, friends, and cousins. That is why I love my beautiful, safe, and lovable home.
