A House is Not a Home

A house is made from bricks, wood, and beams but a home is full of love, joy, and dreams. A house might be strong, warm, and spacious but a home is safe, warm, and gracious. I love my home because I am with people I love and care for. I pray for the homeless, sick, and poor for healing, hope, and joy, thank you to Habitat for humanity for taking care of others' health and lives. A house can always be changed but a home is somewhere I can actually be myself and feel welcomed. I am so thankful and grateful that we have Habitat for Humanity who can make someone feel welcomed and have a place where they can be themselves just like I do. Everyone should have a home in their house, for a house is not always a home.
