What Home Means To Me

A home can mean many things. It can be a safe place to spend time with family and friends, a place where memories are made, and a warm and cozy place to rest. Memories made in the home can be both good and bad, as not everyone has the same experiences. Pictures hung on the walls are reminders of the good times and remind us of what's important. It's sad to think about people without a home and the missing memories that they never make. A home is a safe place to be with my family, with a roof overhead, and with doors to lock. Being in my bed with blankets, my stuffies and my mom and dad make me feel safe. We spend time together in our home making healthy food and creating fun times. A home should be a cozy place that's warm, with a bed, blankets and pillows, a warm bath and a fireplace. I like my home because I get to spend time in my pjs, sleeping and snuggling with my family. Being in a home makes people feel happy. It means different things to different people. I love my home in Gander. We don't have Tsunamis, or wars to worry about. I'm in a safe place with no worries. Everyone should have that.
