What I Think Home Means
Home is not just a building, not just a house, it always has something special. Something that's means a lot, like family, or a pet or just a gift your grandparents gave you. Maybe not even a thing maybe memories like your first Christmas or repainting the wall in your bedroom. Everybody knows the feeling of coming home after a long day of school or a trip. The feeling that you have everything you need, even if it's something little like a cozy blanket or a nice pair of pajamas. The feeling when you get home when the pets rush to the door to greet you or just sleeping in your own bed. Everybody knows the feeling of your own bedroom. My bedroom has everything I love. My posters on the walls and the color of my desk, everything is screaming me. That's something I love. And there're some annoying things too but you get used to it, like a chair you always bump your toe on. But home is home, and everything matters in a home from paintings on the fridge to the room you took your first steps in. Does anybody know the feeling of hating the color of your wallpaper, so you change it, then it doesn't feel right. Because that's what you're used to. The point I am trying to get across is that it doesn’t matter if you have a great big house or a small one. What matters is you have a home.
