Meaning of Home

Home to me is where my family is. My home has more than four walls and a roof, it's where I belong. A home doesn't mean somewhere to live, it is where I feel safe, where I am loved, where I can be who I am and not have to worry about being judged. It’s where the air is filled with joy and laughter, and I can be who I am. I spend time with my favorite hobbies and my best memories are with my family. I can be who I am and do my favourite hobbies like playing Fortnite or playing outside. I love to do art sketching and more. In the summer, I play soccer, basketball and softball with my brother, dad, nan, and my mom. I have lots of fun outside but not every day is nice out so when it's a rainy day I always have fun in the house even if that means doing something very little like watching movies or helping clean the house. Not every day has to be something exciting like riding my bike or playing outside. Home is a beautiful place. My best memories are with the people I love very much; my mom, dad and brother. They are the most important people in my life and I love making memories with them like going to St. Johns and Alberta and trips to places. It doesn’t always have to be going somewhere, it could be staying at my house making forts, having sleepovers in the living room, painting and drawing with my mom or going on the bike and ski doo with my dad and my brother. Home to me is where my beautiful family is and where I feel love and appreciated. I love my home.
