A Home is Not Always Needed, Or is It?

A Home is Not Always Needed, Or is It? A poem for those who need it the most A home is sometimes needed, yes, but, Sometimes people face a lot. A home where maybe a kid lies. They rise as they light up like fireflies. Homemade meals shared with laughter . When you think about that. Why will someone not have a place to stay? They are not different are they? Moving houses not up to their pace. Going from place to place. Hunger isn't chosen. They are outside frozen. Heart broken. Others are opposing. When the wind blows in. Others pretend to give something Their hearts are pure. Looking for a place to belong. So wrong people Act like Kingkong. Stay strong. Bad people, they're wrong But there are good people in the world. Gave you your dream world. And a new world. Thank you Habitat for Humanity you made someone's day again to look up to today.
