What Home Means to Me

Home to me is where love is. It’s where memories are with my family, where I feel safe and where I can be me. My best memories are of singing and dancing with my sister, baking cookies with my mom and helping my dad in the shed. It’s where I feel safe and accepted. Love, laughter and joy fill the air. And my family loves me for who I am. I can be myself, I can be crazy and spontaneous. A house is made of beams and walls, a home is made of love and dreams. That's what my mom says. I feel good when I go to bed and I feel safe every day knowing that everybody is there for me. and my home is my special place, with lots of memories. I love my family and they love me.
