A house is just a word, a home is a feeling.

What does home mean to you? To me, home is a place full of fun and memories. Some of my favorite memories are having big fun parties with friends and family, looking for Easter eggs from the Easter Bunny, and winning family bake-offs. A party is something you shouldn't take for granted because you are with a lot of people who love and care about you. It makes me feel happy and excited about everything that we’re going to do. Celebrating important events with people I love makes my memories even sweeter. A memory that I have is when a teacher from my old school came and surprised me at my Christmas party. During the holidays there are lots of family memories. One of my favorite memories is running around in the backyard looking for Easter eggs. One time I found out the Easter bunny’s real name but nobody believed me. Every year since we moved to Halifax we do a family bake-off. These are fun because we bring everybody together to make treats and eat them. All the fun and memories with the people I love make my house become a home. What makes your house a home?
