My Home Is

Home to me means somewhere I am loved. My house has a bed and a couch, but my home has people I love and care about. My house is where I sleep and eat, but my home is where I make memories and laugh. My house is the place I live, but my home is the place where my heart lives. When I think of my house I think of somewhere I eat, sleep, shower and watch tv, but when I think of my home I think of joy and laughter. My home is the place my heart lives. My house can be happy or sad, but when I am at home I am surrounded and supported by those I love. I hear loud noises of my brother talking with his friends and my mom working in the kitchen at my house, but when I go home it sounds joyful and I hear the happiness in the air. My home smells like my mom cooking and my brother making cookies. After a long day what makes me happy is coming home to the people I love and care about. Home is the place I care about, the place I love. When I go home I love seeing my brothers and my parents. Home is where your heart lives. Your home is not just a place you live it is a place where you play and spend time with family and friends. Your house is not the same as your home. Your home is the place you love.
