Hi! I'm Layla. Did you know that a house is not a home? In fact, there is a HUGE difference! A house is just four walls, but a home is where you are loved, a home is where you have a family, and a family is not just relatives, its friends too! My home is very special to me, and yours might be too! I love my home. When I wake up (you may find this weird) I see my living room. When I walk into my parents' room, I see my dad and my mom. My mom is a great baker. My dad is the cook in the house. He is OBSESSED with dad jokes. I have 4 pets, 3 cats and 1 dog. Cat 1 is Fred the fat cat. Cat 2 is Onyx the old cat. Cat 3 is Figs, the cute cat. My dog is named Lightning. Have you ever seen a homeless person before? I have. But thanks to Habitat for Humanity, some homeless people might actually get a home.
