Home to Me

What does home mean to me? Home means spending time with family and friends. You might not always have fun. Some people's homes are different from yours, but it's home to someone. A house is just a building, not a safe, or you might feel lonely. In my home, we play cards, and we giggle and joke to each other. My family goes camping, we go swimming and splash each other, we fish and eat some of the fish. I play on my bike with my annoying brother, who yells at me. On Friday we have pizza and watch a movie. Halfway through the movie, I hear snoring from my brother and my dog/Hank. I love going to Newfoundland to visit my nan and cousins. We go swimming and giggle all night long and watch funny movies. I love to smell my nan's cinnamon buns. Every night when I go to bed, I see the picture of my grandpa and some of my omi’s ornaments. My grandpa died from lung cancer. Me My stepdad and dad play video games. We laugh, and I try to get my mom to play, but she says that video games are too confusing. When we are camping, we make smores, hotdogs and smokes. Whenever my brother came down, we were always arguing. Sometimes, we play Nerf guns, and then someone gets shot in the eye. Or my dog will come and play around and eat them. Sometimes in the winter we go swimming. We have lots of fun, but then I go on a diving board. I start on the small one, but Riley says, "You're such a baby because you are on a small one".
