My home
Home; a shelter to keep you warm, my escape from all reality. Big or small, short or tall, it saves me from insanity. After a long challenging day of work and no play, I can finally wind down. A place to relax, to stop my thoughts in their tracks and to muffle all sound. This establishment, these walls are more than what it's made for. My home, no war, my own, the core, all kept when I go through the door. Each room is like a journey itself, they have a place in my heart. I memorize, roam, explore this home figuring out where to start. I swiftly pass the rooms where they were once filled with joy. Glee and agony, sadness and harmony, it doesn't matter if you're a girl or boy. To lead memories on, to sing a happy song. It's a wonder truly, how this "home" has come along.
